Starlink Installation in Regina, Saskatchewan
Regina is our western dispatch base, covering the city itself and the farms, acreages and small towns across Southern Saskatchewan. Because we are based in the city rather than driving out from Saskatoon or Calgary, Regina addresses get local rates and quick scheduling — typically a survey within the week and an install shortly after.
We work across the whole city: the older character homes in Cathedral and Lakeview, the newer subdivisions in Harbour Landing and Greens on Gardiner, the acreages out through White City, Emerald Park and Pilot Butte, and the working farms further out toward Lumsden, Balgonie and Indian Head where Starlink is often the only realistic broadband option.
Prairie installs are a different job from Ontario ones. Regina has few obstruction problems — the sky is wide open — but it does have serious wind. Our mounts are specified and braced for sustained prairie gusts, and we use hardware and sealing rated for the full swing from −40 °C winters to +35 °C summers.
Neighbourhoods we cover in Regina.

What makes a Regina install different.
Prairie wind loading
Sustained winds and gusts well over 90 km/h are routine around Regina. We use heavier-gauge mounts, additional bracing and correct fastener torque so the dish holds alignment instead of drifting out of aim after the first big blow.
Extreme temperature swings
From −40 °C in January to +35 °C in July, sealing and cable choice matter. We use cold-rated cable, UV-stable weatherproofing and entry seals that stay flexible instead of cracking after one prairie winter.
Farms, acreages and outbuildings
Most rural Regina-area jobs need internet in more than one building. We plan the dish location, then extend coverage to shops, barns and grain facilities with point-to-point links or outdoor-rated mesh access points.
Wide-open sightlines
Obstruction is rarely the constraint here — which means we can usually site the mount for the shortest, tidiest cable run and easiest future servicing rather than fighting for a clear view.

Regina questions, answered.
How much does Starlink installation cost in Regina?
+
Regina installs start with a free site check and a fixed written quote before we book. Cost depends on mount type, cable distance and whether you need coverage extended to outbuildings. Acreage and farm jobs are quoted the same way — no travel surcharge inside the Regina area.
Will Starlink survive Saskatchewan wind?
+
Yes, when it is mounted properly. Standard hardware is often under-braced for the prairies, so we specify heavier mounts, add bracing and torque fasteners to spec. A correctly installed dish holds its aim through sustained prairie gusts instead of drifting off alignment.
Do you install Starlink on farms and acreages around Regina?
+
Constantly — it is the bulk of our Saskatchewan work. We cover White City, Emerald Park, Pilot Butte, Balgonie, Lumsden and out toward Indian Head, including getting reliable Wi-Fi into shops, barns and grain facilities, not just the house.
How does Starlink handle Regina winters?
+
The dish has a built-in heater that melts snow and ice, but it only works if it is powered and correctly angled. We set the mount angle to shed snow and verify the heater circuit at install, so you are not climbing onto a roof in January.
Can you get internet to my shop or barn as well as the house?
+
Yes. That is a standard part of our rural Regina installs — we extend coverage from the main dish to outbuildings using point-to-point wireless links or outdoor-rated mesh access points, so the whole yard is covered.

We had Dave and Simon out to install our Starlink and they did an amazing job! We were able to get an appointment within a week so that was super convenient and they came out and got the equipment up on the roof, hid the wires as best as they could and ran the wires into the basement everything sealed up! They were punctual and courteous! Great to work with and even showed me how to use everything! If we ever need anything mounted again we will definitely be hiring them! Thank you!
